The vulnerability
What the bug is
The changes introduced to handle single power domain platforms have swapped the info pointer increment from num_pd_vregs to num_pds, which would shift the info pointer past the end of the array for pronto-v3, which does not list power domain regulators in vregs. This showed up as a difference between GCC- and LLVM-compiled kernels on SDM632 devices, where only with LLVM one would get the "regulator request with no identifier" error, because the out-of-bounds memory ended up being zeroed. Fix by skipping the increment when there are more power domains than regulators.
Where it lives
The fix touches these files. If the subsystem is one you do not use, the practical exposure is lower, though the package is still the vulnerable one.

Check it on the machine
grep -wE 'CONFIG_QCOM_WCNSS_PIL|CONFIG_REMOTEPROC' /boot/config-$(uname -r)Reads the booted kernel's own configuration, on the machine and nowhere else. =y is built in, =m is a module, and an is not set line means the code is not there.
lsmod | grep -w qcom_wcnss_pilPrints a line if that module is loaded right now, and nothing if it is not. One that is not loaded can still be loaded later by anything that needs it.
Show whether Debian builds this, per release
Debian does not build this code in 1 release. It does build it in 3 releases, so the answer depends on which release the machine runs.

Why the CNA scored it this way
The kernel CNA published no CVSS vector and no reasoning for CVE-2026-93272, which is why it is shown as unrated rather than given an invented score. 6,405 of the 20,413 CVEs here carry reasoning; this is not one of them.
